The wedding ceremony of Ashley & Jason took place at the Holiday Inn at the Meadows. The first thing I noticed when I arrived was Ashley’s happiness just radiating from her smile and how she looked in her incredibly beautiful wedding dress. AND the shoes which matched the sash on her wedding dress, reminded me of the color of raspberries – beautiful. Jason kept the honeymoon a surprise and tickets were presented to her while she was getting ready. You couldn’t help smiling as you watched her excitement grow as she opened the airline tickets to see their destination — Punta Cana!! Down the hall Jason was presented with a special box from his bride inside ~ Cuff Links!!
During the ceremony there was the mixing of the sand by both mothers later followed by the bride & groom, this was something I’ve never seen before and found it to be very unique and special. The reception followed in the Grand Ball Room where their guest found the most amazing ice sculpture surrounded by bowls of candy which they could take home in little wedding gown & tuxedo candy boxes. The traditional Pittsburgh cookie table was also over flowing with delicious cookies; yes we can vouch first hand that they were definitely yummy… throughout the evening everyone danced to the music of DJ Nick Funn.
