Our Seniors from the West…

Here is our (Dawn & I) 2009 Video of our Seniors from the West side of town. This was a great year. We shot young ladies & men from Moon, Hopewell, Ambridge, Fort Cherry, West Allegheny, Chartires Valley, Quacker Valley and Weirton WV.  We hope the best for each and everyone of them! ~ Bob

Moon Area High School : Powder Puff

I shot a Football game on Wednesday night. It wasn’t the boys game. It was the GIRLS. Moon Area had their annual Powder Puff Football game. There was nothing soft about this game though. These girls were tough but no one was hurt and everyone had a great time! Mallory Snyder & Emily Hvostal organized the event for their Senior Projects. All the proceeds benefitted the Womens Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh. The Seniors did take care of business beating the Juniors 16 – 13. In the earlier game, the Sophomores edged the Freshman. Here is a short video of game action.  – Bob

New Studio!

I’m finally getting the pictures of our new studio in Crescent Township (near Moon) up so all can see what we have to offer now. Our studio was formally our garage ( really it was a over-sized shed that we stored “stuff” in). The construction was done by Frank Bonura &  his crew of  Bonura & John’s Construction. We can do families, groups, High School Seniors & whoever. It’s really great to have the extra room.

Dawn would like to do a fund raiser for the Humane Society. We would ask each pet owner to bring a bag of dog food instead of paying a sitting fee & a 5×7 photo is theirs at no charge. There will be a 15 minute maximum limit on the shoot per owner/pet. Let us know if anyone’s interested. More info is coming!  –Bob

Senior : Highlights

Wow, I can’t believe how long its been since I’ve blogged, I mean really blogged — I’ve added a little here and there but have really fell off the blog wagon for some time now.  August and September seemed to just fly by in a blur with all the amazing high school senior’s that I had the wonderful opportunity to meet.

As I was looking over some of my latest shoots I thought more than once that I need to add this ‘senior’ to our blog and then I’d come across another with the same thought…. soooo what’s a girl to do!!  I started going back through this years sessions and pulled a few photos from a variety of my seniors and put together a little highlight of our photo sessions.    I hope you enjoy my work.  ~Francine

Coming soon, Bob & Dawn will be posting pictures of the grand opening of our Moon Township studio — its beautiful and just opened this past week.

Amy’s Senior Session

A few weeks ago Bob & I had a Senior session with a young lady from Hopewell. Amy had so much energy, she wore us out. Amy is a dancer & falls right into poses effortlessly. Here are a few photos & her video.  ~Dawn

Brianna – Senior Session

Wow! Brianna, you can really work the camera! You’re posing was superb. Way too much fun. It was great to have your Mom there too. She saved us a few times what with the weather turning cruel on us. She kept your hair looking good. I hope you had as much fun as I did.  ~Dawn

Senior Shoot in the ‘Burg

What a day! Mallory & I finally got together for her Senior Portraits. Bob & I decided on going to Pittsburgh. It turned out we went all over the ‘bugh. First on the South Side, then to the Strip District and finally over to the North Side, in front of PNC Park. We finished just before the rains came. Whew!! Special thanks to Mallory for her patience with all the travel.  ~Dawn

Party Time : Mikayla

Mikayla had her graduation party today, Sunday June 21st. A few of her family & friends showed up, around 200. It turned out better than Dawn & I expected. We had it at the Elks Club in Coraopolis, Pa. Lori Gutt was our caterer. The food was fantastic! Lori took care of everything for us. If anyone needs a caterer, I would recommend using Lori (412-916-9060).

Nick was our DJ & kept the music pumping. We had a little issue with our bartender but got it straightened out. Below are pictures of some of the fun. Yes, that is a REAL Superbowl ring! Barb Snyder owns it. She works for the Steelers. Rumor has it she’s giving it to me!   –Bob

Graduation Day : Moon Area High School

Moon Area High School had their graduation ceremony last Friday. Of course it was on the night of the 7th game of the Stanley Cup finals. The commencement ceremony was very nice. Although I dare to say most minds were on the Pens. You’re probably asking why I was actually there and not in front of my television. Our daughter Mikayla was a member of the Class of 2009! Here are a few pictures & video of the festivities.  -Bob
